Alessia Cara, Leon Bridges Among The Headliners Announced For NCAA Championship Concert Series

SAN JOSE, CA (CelebrityAccess) — Organizers for the NCAA College Football Playoffs announced the slate of performers for the AT&T Playoff Playlist Live!, a concert series set to coincide with the league’s championship week.

The free concerts are set to take place from January 4th through January 6th at Discovery Meadow Park in downtown San Jose and will include both established and emerging artists

AT&T Playoff Playlist Live! kicks off Friday evening (January 4) with performances by Alessia Cara and Brynn Elliott. The music continues Saturday (January 5) with Logic, Leon Bridges and Jay Rock. The final night, Sunday (January 6), features OneRepublic and Ellie Goulding.

The concerts will take place within the larger framework of events in San Jose surrounding the Championship week hoopla.

San Jose McEnery Convention Center will host three days worth of family-oriented activities that include games, clinics, pep rallies, band performances, special guest appearances, autograph signings and exhibits celebrating college football and its history.

As well, downtown San Diego will also be the scene of The Extra Yard 5K, the “official” road race of the College Football Playoffs. The event includes live entertainment, activities with race sponsors and a post-race awards ceremony.

For folks who just want to party, the parking lots of the Levi’s Stadium will host free outdoor tailgating events, including includes fan activities, games, and entertainment, as well as ziplining and sponsor activations.

For the well-heeled, The Tech Museum of Innovation will host the Eckrich Taste of the Championship, which will include food and beverages from local notable restaurants and breweries, with the proceeds from the event going to support the CFP Foundation and its Extra Yard for Teachers platform.
