NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — A&R and artist management veterans Raquel Sánchez and Christine Coupet announced they are partnering to relaunch the Thump Agency, a marketing and artist representation company.
The company positions itself as a full-service agency, offering everything from more traditional services such as artist representation and development to digital music promotion and publicity.
As well, Thump also offers digital content creation such as video production, social media marketing, and artist website development.
Thump also announced the launch of Thump Records, which bills itself as a music publishing and licensing operation but as of yet, does not have any clients listed.
Christine Coupet comes to the business with experience as an A&R vet a Sony Records, where she worked on licensing and contract negotiation and has worked with artists such as TLC, Run DMC and Expose.
Raquel Sanchez began her career as a hip-hop promoter in Miami, where she worked with Tommy Boy, Warner Brothers, Priority and others.
