NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) Cardi B has been indicted by a grand jury on multiple charges, including two felonies, in connection with a brawl at a New York strip club, according to TMZ.
Cardi B was arrested in October for allegedly ordering an attack on two strip club bartenders, who claim they were injured during the brawl when the rapper’s entourage started throwing bottles and chairs, according to TMZ. The grand jury has indicted Cardi B, real name Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar, on 14 charges, including two counts of felony attempted assault with intent to cause serious physical injury.
The incident with Almanzar occurred in August and was allegedly triggered after the rapper accused bartender Jade of sleeping with her boyfriend, Offset.
The grand jury has indicted her on 14 charges including two counts of felony attempted assault with intent to cause serious physical injury. Other charges include misdemeanor reckless endangerment, assault, criminal solicitation, conspiracy and harassment, according to TMZ.
Almanzar rejected a plea deal that would have provided her with a conditional discharge in return for pleading guilty to a single misdemeanor, but apparently, a single misstep could have been dangerous to her situation.
These are serious charges yet Cardi B, a felon, is expected to headline a concert at Staples Center in Los Angeles tomorrow night and has dates lined up through October, including Rock in Rio and Austin City Limits Music Festival.
