NAPA, Calif. (CelebrityAccess) Another Planet Entertainment and Blue Note Entertainment Group have announced a festival-style outdoor venue in downtown Napa, Calif. – meaning, near the location of the BottleRock music festival.
The Oxbow RiverStage, located at 1268 McKinstry St., will launch with the Steve Miller Band and Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives Aug. 25, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. The location has a reported 4,000 capacity.
“We have produced a number of shows in the North Bay counties over the years but have never found a permanent home up here,” said Gregg Perloff, CEO and founder of Another Planet Entertainment. “Oxbow RiverStage will be Another Planet Entertainment’s first exclusive venue in the region, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring world-class music to downtown Napa.”
The venue is expected to offer a selection of Napa Valley wines, craft beers and food and will offer a VIP lounge similar to those offered at BottleRock and Another Planet’s Outside Lands.
“Our goal at Oxbow RiverStage is to create an atmosphere combining really cool elements you might find at both standard outdoor concert venues and music festivals,” Ken Tesler, owner of Blue Note Napa, said in a statement. “We will focus on bringing quality events and the best experience to attendees and to the local community in downtown Napa.”
