Jason Aldean’s Triple Play Music Launches A JV With BMG Nashville

NASHVILLE (CelebrityAccess) — BMG Nashville announced the launch of a joint venture with Triple Play Music, a music publishing company co-owned by Jason Aldean, along with bandmates Kurt Allison and Tully Kennedy.

The deal covers Triple Play’s songwriter roster, which includes John Edwards, BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville/Night Train Records’ John Morgan and veteran songwriter Neil Thrasher, who recently signed with the company.

Thrasher is well-regarded in the Nashville songwriter community and has rseen hundreds of his works recorded over the last two years by artists such as Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Rascal Flatts, Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, Randy Houser, Ronnie Dunn, Tyler Farr, Reba McEntire, and many others.

Collectively, his songs have sold more than 50 million records and spent 25 weeks at #1, including hits such as “Tattoos On This Town,” “Fly Over States,” “Night Train” and “Rearview Town.”
