SUMMERLAND, BC (CelebrityAccess) – Sakamoto Agency is pleased to announce the signing of British Columbia’s (BC) Tony Stevens, whose song “Whiskey in Colorado” became a Top 10 hit in Canada in 2024, and led to Stevens receiving his first Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) nomination for Songwriter(s) of the Year. Paul Biro will be the Responsible Agent for Stevens.
Steven’s breakout year also included being a finalist in SiriusXM’s Top of the Country program, and staying in the Top 10 on country radio for 4 weeks and nearly 3 months in the Top 20. The industry attention led to “Whiskey in Colorado” being the 12th most-played Canadian Country song in Canada in 2024. With over 4 million streams to date, Stevens has already cemented his place as one of Canada’s most promising new country acts. His new single, “When I Hear That Song,” was released on October 18, 2024, through Willing Records, distributed by Universal Music Canada, and he will be releasing his anticipated debut album in spring 2025.
