The Association of Independent Music Publishers Announces Chapter Election Results

(CelebrityAccess) — The Association of Independent Music Publishers (AIMP) has announced the results of elections for its Atlanta, Los Angeles, Nashville, and New York Chapters.

Atlanta Chapter

  • President: Tony D. Alexander (MIME LLC) has been elected to a two-year term.
  • Co-Vice Presidents: Crystal Morris (Digital Royalty Distribution LLC) and Tye Huntley (Smart Cadence Media LLC).
  • Treasurer: David Alexander (David Alexander Consulting).
  • Secretary: Cheryl Potts (Cleerkut) will continue in her role.
  • Administration Director: Kandice Bell (KandiLand Entertainment, LLC) will also remain in her position.

Re-elected board members include Christopher Bass (Clark Atlanta University), Robin Kindrick (Track Dat Sync), Megan Oliver (Skybound Entertainment), and Eric Spence (Mosley Music Group).

Los Angeles Chapter

  • President: Frank Handy (Music Publishing Consultant) succeeds Marc Caruso (Angry Mob Music), who completes a two-year term.
  • Vice President: Eric Polin (Music Publishing Consultant).
  • Secretary: Yvonne Drazan (peermusic).
  • Treasurer: Quan (The Greater Goods Co.).
  • Administration Director: Juliet Lyons will continue in her role.

Newly elected board members include Gabi Cote (Position Music), Jessica Raviol (NBCUniversal), Debra Delshad (Creative Licensing Consultant), Sherry Orson (Star Vibe Group), Bryan Bakke (Orfium), Andrew Wixen (Simplify Music), Charley Londoño (Counsel Plus), and Mayra Vargas (Concord Music Publishing). They join incumbents Barbie Quinn (BMI), Todd Brabec (musicandmoney.com), Michael Todd (ASCAP), and Garrett Johnson, Esq. (Garrett Johnson Law).

Nashville Chapter

The membership elected the following new board members:

  • Duane Hobson (ASCAP), Dave Pacula (Liz Rose Music), Kari Barnhart (Studio Bank), Leslie DiPiero (Jonas Group Publishing), Megan Pekar (Loeb & Loeb LLP), and Melissa Spillman (Concord).

Incumbents continuing their terms include Ree Guyer (Wrensong Music), John Ozier (Reservoir Media), ET Brown (SESAC), Courtney Crist (Eclipse Entertainment), Janine Ebach (Ebach Entertainment), Leslie Roberts (BMI), Shannan Hatch (SESAC), Keithan Melton (Combustion Music), Alex Heddle (Big Machine Music), Tim Hunze (Big Machine Music), and Robert Carlton (SMACKSongs).

Board officers for Nashville will be elected in January. Juliet Lyons will remain as the chapter’s Administration Director.

New York Chapter

  • President: Debbie Rose (Sundae Songs LLC) succeeds Michael Lau (CollectivRights Management), who will now serve as Treasurer after completing a four-year term as President.
  • Vice President: Jeff Pachman (Domino Publishing Company).
  • Secretary: Art Levy (Songtradr/The Levy Firm) continues in his role.
  • Administration Director: Leigh Cusick (Sundae Songs) will also remain in her position.

New board members Omar Sandoval (Spirit Music Group) and Peter Raleigh (Raleigh Music Group) join re-elected incumbents Amber Charania (Downtown Music Holdings), Antonella Di Saverio (BMI), Brooke Primont (Concord Music Publishing), David Hoffman (Reservoir Media Management), Joanne Kelsey (Anthem Entertainment), Joyce Dollinger (Alter, Kendrick & Baron, LLP), Melanie Santa Rosa (Third Side Music), and Michael Simon (Harry Fox Agency/Rumblefish).
