LONDON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — AEG has started the ball rolling on plans to develop the last 30% of the 02 Entertainment centre but exactly what they plan to do has yet to be decided.
According to PropertyWeek, the firm has filed an Outline Planning Application with the Greenwich Council, in order to develop the remaining 250,000 square feet of space into leisure facilities.
Presently, the O2 dome is already one of the largest event spaces in the world and employed in sporting and musical events and serves as a venue for a number of restaurants and clubs.
"This would maximise the amount of floor-space we could use. We are looking at a number of options for the space but nothing has been decided yet." a spokesman for AEG said. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
