DOUR, Belgium (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Despite the dour moniker, Belgium’s 19th annual Dour Festival is looking to be a huge success in 2007. Named for its host city (not the English-language’s negative adjective), the Dour Festival will feature the Rapture, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, the Thermals and the Wu-Tang Clan on July 12-15.
The festival, labeled “The European Alternative Music Event,” sold almost 135,000 tickets in 2006, and looks to sell even more this time around.
Other artists slated for the diverse concert include Autechre, DJ Shadow, Wilco, Explosions in the Sky, Venetian Snares, KRS-One, Mates of State, the Cinematic Orchestra, the Frames, Wolf Eyes, Goldie, Stereo Total, Digitalism, the Notwist, and many many more. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
