Cold War Kids Start Tour With Free Concert In Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Cold War Kids announce the September ‘08 release of their sophomore album on Downtown Records. It’s the eagerly awaited follow up to 2006’s 'Robbers & Cowards' which saw the bluesy buzz band from Long Beach, CA garner world-wide acclaim, sell out venues across the country, score a #1 video on MTV with “Hang Me Up To Dry” and appear on all the late night talk shows Jay Leno, David Letterman, Conan O’Brien, Jimmy Kimmel and Craig Ferguson.

The band kick off the summer with a Free concert in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park Band Shell for ‘Celebrate Brooklyn’. After this weekends concert in Prospect park they head out to California to start their tour promoting their new album.
