Ed Sheeran Discusses Vocal Problems During Australian Tour

SYDNEY, Australia (CelebrityAccess) — Brit singer Ed Sheeran says that air conditioning has damaged his voice, telling Sydney's Daily Telegraph that he was concerned his Australian tour would be canceled after his voice "dried up."

"It was scary. It was a difficult tour in that respect, a lot of air conditioning and a lot of flying dries you up ," Sheeran told the newspaper. "I had to be more sensible than I usually am. One [of my hit songs] was in [the setlist] but because my voice went, I couldn't do falsetto. It had to come out … It'll be different when I come back to Australia in December."

Sheeran also tweeted recently about being under doctor's orders not to talk at all and said he was communicating with a white board.

"Been told by the vocal doc not to talk at all between shows and they're giving me a white board to communicate with, could prove interesting (sic)," Sheeran tweeted.

Despite his vocal problems, his tour continues and he is slated to perform a sold out string of dates in North America through the month of May. – Staff Writers
