Fake Chef Caught At Qwest

BOISE, Idaho (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) A man allegedly posing as a chef employed at Qwest Arena has been arrested by police in connection with a series of thefts that had taken place at the venue.

According to Fox News, the man, 22-year-old Matthew Peppersack, has been charged with felony burglary and grand theft charges after being identified by an alert Arena employee.

According to the report, the employee spotted Peppersack on Saturday night, dressed in a chef's jacket and carrying a mop. The employee alerted police and detained Peppersack until they arrived.

"And when he was originally confronted, it's my understanding he said he was there to clean up a spill, but the employee didn't buy that. He noticed he didn't have any ID, noticed he didn't recognize him from any previous contacts as being an employee, and did a good bit of work by detaining him and calling police," Boise PD Lt. Alan Cavener told Fox News.

More charges may be pending as the investigation continues. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
