LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Starting in February, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live will take a new approach to musical offerings on the show, with a new featured dubbed "Mash Up Mondays." The bit will present a unique musical performance by pairing up two artists to form one unlikely 'supergroup.'
To start things off, alt-rockers Weezer & rock legends ZZ Top will join forces on February 2nd to form Wee-Z Top.
On February 9th, Morris Day & The Time will team up with pop-rock sisters Haim performing as "Morris Day and the Haim". February 16 brings 'Aloe Blaccstreet' coupling soul sensation Aloe Blacc and R&B hitmakers Blackstreet.
Kimmel is no stranger to music on his show and over the past thirteen years has presented concerts by artists such as Justin Timberlake, Paul McCartney, Jay-Z and most recently Taylor Swift. – Staff Writers
