Korn Cancels May Tour Dates

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Alt-metal rockers Korn have announced that they've postponed the lion's share of their concerts in May but declined to offer a reason for the scheduling change.

In a statement released by the band, a rep said: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, we will be rescheduling a majority of our May tour dates. We will still be performing at Carolina Rebellion on May 6th, Pointfest on May 13th and Rock On The Range on May 20th. All tickets will be honored, or refunded at the point of purchase. Stay tuned for more information regarding rescheduling the dates.”

Affected dates include May 7th at the Fillmore in Silver Spring, Stage AE in Pittsburgh on May 10th and The Tabneracle in Atlanta on May 18th and as of yet, no word about makeup dates has been announced.

News of the postponed dates comes just days after the band wrapped a short tour of South America, with Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo's 12-year-old son Tye filling in on the axe while their regular bassist was unable to play.
