(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Paul McCartney has been a strict vegetarian for decades and his long time ban of meat from his concert tour has become newsworthy in Norway. MSNBC's The Scoop reported that McCartney has ordered no meat be eaten by anyone working on the tour.
"It's completely crazy," a worker in Oslo told Aftenposten. "We're supposed to work from eight 'til eight each day and aren't served anything but salad and vegetarian food. I can't live without meat doing this kind of work and will defy the ban and bring my own lunch packet with meat."
"We can't control what they do in their spare time," a spokesman for the concert organizers said, " but as long as they're inside the stadium area, it's correct that they are banned from eating meat."
The crew is also to refrain from wearing leather belts or shoes. –Jan Cohen and Bob Grossweiner
