NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) New York-based company is hoping to bring the experience of attending the circus to a movie theater near you.
BY Experience, a company that specializes in broadcasting live events in cinemas, has announced plans to broadcast the Big Apple Circus' Metamorphosis show via satellite to cinemas in the U.S. and Canada.
Metamorphosis will feature juggling, acrobatics, aerial trapeze and music, as animal performers, including camels, ferrets, horses and trained shelter dogs. The show, a demonstrate, will be captured with three high definition cameras and last for approximately 2 hours, with an intermission.
"For many families across the U.S. and around the globe , getting to a circus is quite challenging. It can be expensive. It can be out of reach in terms of location," Julie Borchard-Young, co-president of BY Experience told the Associated Press.
BY Experience has also produced cinema broadcasts of performances by The Met, the BBC Proms, music from the Sonisphere festival and Westlife's farewell concert. – Staff Writers
