(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — After selling out two shows on July 2nd and 3rd at the City of Manchester Stadium, British rockers Oasis have added another date at the same venue and one in their hometown on June 30th.
An estimated 250,000 tickets for the first two shows were sold by 11:30am on day tickets became available, cementing the bands reputation as the number one rock group in the UK. NME.com also reported that the band has sold out shows on July 9th at the Milton Keyes Bowl and on June 29th at Glasgow’s Hampden Park.
Though there has been no announcement of further additions to the tour, a spokeswoman for the band told NME.com, “It’s been an incredible morning. Oasis currency remains sky-high.” –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
