ROSWELL GA (CelebrityAccess) — Authorities in Georgia revealed that they are treating the investigation of the events surrounding the discovery of Bobbi Kristina Brown face down and unresponsive in a bathtub last month as a criminal matter.
According to Reuters, police in Georgia have been questioning people about the circumstances leading to the discovery of Brown, but did not make clear the nature of the investigation.
Bobbi Kristina Brown, the only child of the late singers Whitney Houston, and Bobby Brown, was discovered on Jan. 31st and has been in a coma since. Conflicting stories have about her condition have since surfaced in the media, including later refuted reports that she was to be taken off of life support, while the family has asked for privacy.
"We continue to request privacy in this matter," Bobby Brown said in a statement released through his attorney on Tuesday. "We thank everyone that supported the vigil for Bobbi Kristina. God is hearing our prayers."
