‘Re-Resurrection’ Of Seattle’s Fenix Nightclub

SEATTLE (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Seattle’s Fenix Nightclub, a staple in the Pioneer Square area for the past 15 years, is planning to move to the space currently occupied by the Premiere club in the city’s Sodo district.

The Fenix closed its second location in June, according to the Seattle Times, after it didn’t work out for a variety of reasons. The original club, in the same area, was destroyed by the Nisqually earthquake in 2001.

Owner Rick Wyatt called the process a “re-resurrection,” and told the paper that he’s “back in the saddle again.”

The new 22,000-square-foot Fenix, located at 1700 First Ave. S., will feature a mix of live bands and dance DJs. It is expected to open by the end of the month. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
