LONDON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Who frontman Roger Daltry has been forced to pull the plug on a trio of dates in his forthcoming UK tour.
The three affected dates are July 3rd at Ragley Hall in Warwickshire, July 17 at Ripley Castle in Harrogate and July 24th at Powderham Castle near Exeter.
While the reason for the cancellations was not officially announced, reports are suggesting that poor ticket sales might be to blame.
"It's all to do with poor ticket sales, I'm afraid," Simon Fishwick, General Manager at Powderham Castle told Stereoboard. "It was an exciting event, but it just does not seem to have got anyone going."
Daltry intends to play the full "Tommy" Rock Opera, as well as selected Who classics on the tour.
Ticketholders for the affected dates have been told they can return their tickets for a full refund at the point of sale. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
