LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — Simon Presswell has reportedly exited his post as CEO of Eventim UK after just ten months in the job.
A spokesman for Eventim UK, the British arm of European ticketing giant CTS Eventim, confirmed to UK-based music news site IQ that Presswell had been let go but declined to elaborate.
Presswell, formerly managing director of Ticketmaster UK, joined Eventim UK last December and the news of his departure comes against the backdrop of SMG Europe selecting Ticketmaster as the ticketing vendor for all of their managed venues in the UK. SMG Europe is the largest arena operator in the island nation.
It is expected Eventim UK’s chairman, Nick Blackburn, will serve as interim while a replacement is sought, IQ said.
