Derek Rauchenberger has been named general manager of the new $60 million, 6,350-seat Texas NextStage at Grand Prairie, near Dallas. The venue is scheduled to open later this year. Other appointments include Mary Jane "MJ" Mendell, talent buyer; David Smith, VP of content development; and Brandie Rhodes, sponsorship sales consultant.
Rauchenberger previously managed Pacific Amphitheatre (Costa Mesa, Calif.) and Meadows Music Center (Hartford, Conn.).
