BARRIE ON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Barrie New Music Fest, in association with Rock 95 FM, Rogers TV and Metroland North Media is a four-day live music festival in Barrie ON, scheduled for September 10, 11, 12, and 13, 2009. The festival will feature over 75 live touring artists of various genres, performing a series of concerts/showcases at over 10 of Barrie’s finest live music venues.
New to this year's festival is the inclusion of the New Music Awards taking place on September 13, 2009 at The Mansion Night Club. There are 24 different award categories for independent musicians in Ontario with the exception of the "Best Out Of Province" and "Best International" categories.
All participating venues and artist schedules will be announced August 1, 2009.
