SAN FRANCISCO (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Wolfgang's Vault, the online site for live rock concert performances and memorabilia, has acquired memorabilia and merchandise from Tom Moffatt Productions. Included in the purchase were all intellectual property and copyrights associated with these assets, including memorabilia from the Hawaiian concert promoter's archive.
Tom Moffatt Productions has been Hawaii's premier concert production company since the late 1950s when the Michigan native made his DJ debut in Hawaii. Moffatt soon expanded beyond radio into concert promotion and production. By 1966, Moffatt, then expert in arranging and promoting concerts throughout the Hawaiian Islands, brought the Rolling Stones to Hawaii. Bill Haley's Comets, Bob Marley, Aretha Franklin, Jane's Addiction, the Yardbirds, Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson, Cyndi Lauper and Elvis Presley are some of his other concert promotions.
