AEG's Dubfest Takes Shape

HOLLYWOOD, FL (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Since joining AEG Live, former Fantasma scion Jesse Stoll has been hard at work on AEG's new Florida festival, Dubfest.

The one-day festival will be held at the Artspark in Hollywood, Florida on Sept. 5th and the solid lineup of performers includes an exclusive North American appearance by reggae legend Bunny Wailer. The festival will also feature expositions of skiing, skateboarding and other "lifestyle sports" and a vendor area.

The festival will be divided into five areas, including two with performance stages and a "chill out" area that takes advantage of the park's recent upgrades.

"I feel like South Florida has been waiting for an event like this for years — a festival that celebrates the beach, the ocean, surfing, skating and more all mixed into one," said Jesse Stoll, AEG Live operations coordinator. "We are really looking to build a true quality lifestyle event that becomes a destination in Florida and beyond."

The current lineup for the fest: Bunny Wailer, Reel Big Fish, Goldfinger, Lee "Scratch" Perry, Badfish, Authority Zero, Scotty Don't, Ballyhoo!, SOJA, B-Liminal, Ladies and Gentleman, Dub City Tribe and Speaking Volumes. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
