Bonnaroo Announces Initial Line-Up


MANCHESTER, TN (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The lineup for the Bonnaroo 2007 has been announced. Bonnaroo, one of the largest and most anticipated Summer festivals in the US will return to Manchester Tennessee for its sixth installment on June 14-17.

Produced by Superfly Productions and A.C. Entertainment, the festival has been taking place on a 700 acre farm south of Nashville since 2002. It features a diverse selection of music around the clock along with a comedy club, cinema, silent disco, arcade, Internet cafés, restaurants, yoga classes and hundreds of high quality craft vendors.

This year, Bonnaroo will host the recently reunited rock legends the Police, along with performances by Tool, Widespread Panic and the return of the White Stripes after their lengthy break. Other performers fans will have a chance to see include Manu Chao, Wilco, Franz Ferdinand, the Decemberists, Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals, the String Cheese Incident, Regina Spektor, the Flaming Lips and Damien Rice amongst scores of others.

Alternative arts entertainment has always been an integral part of the Bonnaroo experience. Comedy is a hit among Bonnaroo fans, who pack in to see sets at Yet Another (Comedy) Tent, the festival's on-site comedy club. This year's comedy lineup includes sets by David Cross, Dave Attell and Lewis Black, who is returning to Bonnaroo for the second year in a row.
