Copenhagen's New Room

COPENHAGEN, Denmark (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The site of the former Carlsberg bottling plant in Copenhagen has been recast into a new role as Tap 1, a new 6,000 capacity venue.

According to Audience Magazine, the new venue was brought to life by Laust Christian Poulsen, a partner in marketing and advertising firm Agenda Group but bookings at the venue will be a joint partnership between Vega Musikkenshus and Tap 1 and be presented under the auspices of Tap 1 Live. External promoters will also be booking the room and shows by Live Nation, Beat box Booking and others are already on the schedule.

The venue has option configurations, including movable stage positions and can be set up to accommodate between 2,000 and 6,000 people comfortably.

Tap 1 hopes that the venue will fill what they see as a gap in Copenhagen's entertainment offerings.

"There is nothing in Copenhagen between Vega(1,500 capacity) and sports halls of around 10,000 capacity, so we fit nicely in the gap." Tap 1 marketing director Jakob Smith Knudsen told Audience. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
