SAN ANTONIO (CelebrityAccess) — A guitarist in Leon Russell's band said authorities in San Antonio are investigating the theft of $4,000 in gear from the band's tour bus before a show at the Aztec Theatre on Sunday night.
According to the Associated Press, Guitarist Beau Charron said that the band performed on Sunday with borrowed instruments in the wake of the theft. Charron told the Associated Press that the theft occured as the and slept ont heir bus while it was parked in front of the theater.
Stolen gear included a mandolin, and three guitars, including a stratocaster.
