LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The long-awaited Guns N' Roses album "Chinese Democracy" has been given an official release date of Sunday, November 23rd Billboard has reported.
The album is slated to come out on a Sunday, instead of the usual Tuesday release but this is an artifact of exclusive retailer Best Buy's sales week but will push the chart numbers back to Dec. 1st according to Nielsen SoundScan.
The album has been in the making since the early 1990s when the dissolution of the band led to the album being shelved.
In the leadup to the release of Chinese Democracy, the band will debut "Shackler's Revenge." Gn'R fans can also look for the band's debut release "Appetite for Destruction" as a vinyl re-issue set to drop on October 28th.
Best Buy may also attempt to parlay the exclusive release into some traction for the Napster music service that they recently purchased. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
