ROLLING MEADOWS, IL (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The layoffs recently announced by Ticketmaster haven't been confined to the primary ticketing market and secondary-market subsidiary Ticketsnow has announced that's its chopping 62 jobs from their Illinois headquarters.
According to Ticketnews, additional cuts will hit the Ticketsnow's Texas-based call center. Other cuts will see the reassignment of staff in Illinois to increase efficiency. In all, more than 300 job cuts have been proposed by the corporate overlords at Ticketmaster.
Ticketsnow, the nation's second largest secondary ticket market firm, was acquired earlier this year as a part of a Ticketmaster buying spree along with other technology-oriented companies such as Paciolan as Ticketmaster prepared to grapple with their newly-risen foe Live Nation. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
