(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Long Island's music scene was dealt a blow when Farmingdale rock club The Downtown announced that it will shutter it's doors.
In a statement on their web site, the club announced that it would be closed effective immediately. All tickets purchased for future shows will be refunded at their point of purchase. Tickets purchased at the Downtown Box Office should be mailed to The Downtown/Ticket Refund, 190 Main Street, Farmingdale, NY, 11735. Please include, in the envelope, your name, address and telephone number as well as your tickets. Many shows will likely be transferred to The Crazy Donkey in Farmingdale or to Voltage in Levittown- CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
