GLENS FALLS, NY (CelebrityAccess) — The Adirondack Civic Center Coalition has named Jeff Mead as the new general maanger of the Glens Falls Civic Center, replacing the outgoing GM, Jack Walter, effective July 20th.
A native of Glens Falls, Mead most recently served as the operations manager for Blue Sky Sports Center, a chain of sports centers in Dallas metroplex, the Glens Falls Post-Star reported.
“I’m excited,” Mead told the Post-Star. “I’m confident we can do some things to get more events in the building.”
The venue is also in line for a round of upgrades, including the repair of the building's marquee sign, as well as painting, work on the sound system and repair to stone work at the facility, the Post-Star said. – Staff Writers
