NASHVILLE, TN (CelebrityAccess) — Sturgill Simpson, Lori McKenna and Rodney Crowell are among the artists nominated for the 2017 edition of the Americana Music Awards.
Simpson led the list of nominees with three picks, including Album of the Year, Artist of the Year and Song of the Year. McKenna picked up nominations for Artist and Song of the Year, as was Crowell.
Awards are scheduled for Sept. 13, at the historic Ryman Auditorium and will take place as a part of the week-long Americana Music Festival, which is set for Sept. 12-17.
