(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Officials have announced the headliners for this year’s "Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds Festival" in the United Kingdom.
Veteran rock icons The Pixies, alternative rock goofballs the Foo Fighters, and metal heads Iron Maiden will be the main acts for the festival, set to take place the weekend of August 26, according to Filter magazine.
All three groups have played the show before. Iron Maiden played back in 1980 and 1982. The Foo Fighters played in 2002, and front man Dave Grohl played with Nirvana in 1991. The Pixies headlined the festival in 1990.
