New York, NY (CelebrityAccess News Service) – If you asked JIM BOGGIA who is his biggest fan, he would probably tell you Michelle Branch. Recently the GRAMMY® award winning singer/songwriter has personally asked BOGGIA to join her on some upcoming shows on Branch’s first headlining tour which kicked off on October 2nd.
The unsigned singer/songwriter caught the attention of Branch, when fellow musicians turned her on to BOGGIA’s music and she was able to catch one of his shows. Since then, if Michelle is in a town where BOGGIA’s playing, she has been known to show up at his gigs.
"As an independent artist, it's an amazing opportunity to have someone of Michelle's stature helping to spread the word – very gracious on her part. I can't wait for the chance to play the shows and have my music heard by her fans," says Jim.
JIM BOGGIA is an accomplished singer/songwriter himself. As a writer, he co-wrote the #1 Billboard hit “Glory” for recording artist Jaci Velasquez. BOGGIA has also toured with Amanda Marshall, Juliana Hatfield, Jill Sobule and Wood among others. When he is not doing solo shows, BOGGIA also takes part in 4 WAY STREET – a collaborative project of 4 Philadelphia-based songwriters. Their debut album, "Pretzel Park" was recently released on Sanctuary Records. Jim also continues to work on material for his next independent CD release.
Michelle’s enthusiasm for Jim’s music is evident: “Jim is simply an amazingly talented artist and I am happy to have him on tour with me. I am certain that he will win over a lot of new fans!”
So, to say that Michelle Branch is one of your fans is putting it mildly, when you’re asked to open some of her shows. What does Michelle see in JIM BOGGIA that the music industry hasn’t noticed yet? There’s only one way to find out….
