NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Rain the Beatles tribute act, announced they are pulling out of their upcoming New York performances as part of Live Nation’s Broadway residency series.
Rain did not provide a reason for the cancellation but announced that the “tour is no longer able to extend into New York City” for the previously announced dates.
Rain was due to perform Abbey Road Live at Broadway’s Lunt-Fontanne Theater from July 16-21 as part of the In Residence On Broadway series, staged by a partnership between Live Nation, The Araca Group and EBG.
Other artists who are to be featured in the series include musicians Yanni, Regina Spektor and Morrissey, magician Criss Angel, comedy icons Mel Brooks, and Dave Chappelle.
