AEG Brings B-Ball To Anaheim

ANAHEIM, CA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The last year has seen a diverse selection of live entertainment events at the Anaheim Arena.

AEG took over at the 7,000 seat arena last year, the first of a five year contract. Renovations and a new focus on live entertainment have helped the arena to meet the financial expectations of the city from which AEG has leased the venue. Presently, the city expects to earn $780,000 this year, which is considerably higher than the 250,000 in annual rent stipulated by the contract, the Orange County Register reported.

AEG has also brought in the Anaheim Arsenal, an NBA Developmental League team. Ticket sales for the inaugural game have been strong, with 5,000 tickets sold in addition to the 800 season ticket holders. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
