WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA (VIP-NEWS) — ArenaNetwork, a consortium of nearly 50 US arenas that seeks to create live opportunities for member venues, has appointed facility management veteran Ed Rubinstein to the newly created role of COO.
Rubinstein will be based in the organization's Westlake Village, Calif., office and report directly to ArenaNetwork CEO Brad Parsons.
In his new position, Rubinstein will work to increase the functionality of the ArenaNetwork staff and add traditional and non-tradtitional programming for its member venues.
Most recently, Rubinstein served as tour director for the 2008 Tour of Gymnastic Superstars, which featured performances by members of the 2008 U.S. women's and men's Olympic teams. The 38-date U.S. trek was routed predominately through ArenaNetwork member venues.
Prior to that, Rubinstein was executive director at the BI-LO Center in Greenville, S.C. With more than 30 years in the venue management business, he has also enjoyed stints at the Spectrum Arena in Philadelphia and the Target Center in Minneapolis. According to Billboard
