Beyonce, Ed Sheeran Among Headliners For Anti-Poverty Concert


NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Pearl Jam, Beyonce, Ed Sheeran and Coldplay have been announced as the headliners for Global Citizen's Chime For Change concert.

Produced by by Emmy Award-winning producer, Ken Ehrlich, the festival will take place on the Great Lawn of New York's Central Park on September 26, 2015, and the event will be hosted by Stephen Colbert, Chime For Change co-founder Salma Hayek Pinault, Deborra-Lee and Hugh Jackman, Kerry Washington and Olivia Wilde and will seek to raise awareness about Global Citizen's bid to end extreme poverty by 2030.

Parts of the concert will also be broadcast on a number of media outlets, including MSNBC, Youtube, TIDAL and the BBC. iHeartRadio will also partner with Global Citizen on the festival, with a simulcast live on the "Global Citizen Radio."
