DAYTON, OH (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — X-Fest 2012, an annual rock fest scheduled for Sept. 16 at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds, has been canceled, according to a news release by Clear Channel Communications.
The event, presented by Live Nation and the Clear Channel Communications-owned radio station WXEG-FM had a lineup that included Seether, Sick Puppies, 10 Years, Dropkick Murphys, Filter, Pop Evil, Falling In Reverse, Kyng, Young Guns, and Dangerkids, as well as a slate of local bands.
While Clear Channel did not specify why they pulled the plug on the show, a spokesman for one of the show's sponsors, Buckeye Harley Davidson told local NBC affiliate WDTN that the show was canceled due to poor ticket sales. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
