(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Celine Dion has pledged $1 million to the American Red Cross to help the relief and recovery efforts for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Dion and her partners, Concerts West/AEG Live and DRAGONE, will donate proceeds from their Las Vegas show "A New Day…" to help the people in need as a result of the tragedy.
"A New Day…" is produced by AEG Live and is performed at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas. The show's engagement continues until the end of 2007. –Bob Grossweiner and Jane Cohen
