Led Zep And Warner Issue Statements After Lawsuit Victory

(Hypebot) – Earlier today an LA jury ruled that Led Zeppelin did not plagiarize the opening chords of the iconic hit "Stairway To Heaven." This afternoon, Robert Plant and Jimmy Paige of Led Zeppelin and label Warner Music Group each released official statements.


Mssrs Robert Plant and Jimmy Page wrote:

“We are grateful for the jury’s conscientious service and pleased that it has ruled in our favor, putting to rest questions about the origins of ‘Stairway to Heaven’ and confirming what we have known for 45 years.
