ROSKILDE, Denmark (VIP-NEWS) — Organisers tweeted last night that except for a few single day tickets on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, the festival’s 80,000 tickets are now completely sold out – over three weeks before it starts.
A post on the Roskilde Festival website reads:
"That’s it, people! We have now sold the very last of the 80,000 full festival tickets, giving access to the full eight-day experience at Roskilde Festival 2015, which features headliners such as Paul McCartney, Kendrick Lamar, Muse and Pharrell Williams in the line-up."
Even though all 80,000 full festival tickets are sold out, it is still possible to visit Roskilde Festival this year. A limited number of one-day tickets are available for Wednesday 1 July, Thursday 2 July and Friday 3 July. If you’re interested in tickets for Friday, you should act fast as we have few left. Tickets for Saturday 4 July are already sold out.
In the past couple of months we have noticed that a lot of people really want to go to Roskilde Festival, as the ticket rates have been record-high since we announced our full line-up in March.
Having sold out means that that we can now start looking forward to generating a profit from the festival which we donate in full to charitable and humanitarian causes.
