DUBLIN (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Samantha Mumba's comeback concert scheduled for March 2nd in her hometown of Dublin has been canceled due to an apparent lack of interest. Despite an assiduous marketing effort by organizers and an appearance from Mumba on the "Late Late Show" to promote the concert there was little response from the hoi polloi. Sources put the total number of tickets sold at the time of cancellation at a brutal 30.
In a statement, Mumba said "I am disappointed that the Dublin concert has been canceled but excited about the showcase in London and hoping that when my new album comes out I will be able to perform it live in Dublin as it has always been my dream to bring my show to my home town."
The few people who did purchase tickets will be reimbursed at the point of purchase. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
