Tinley Park Jam has terminated its booking agreement with the Tweeter Center (formerly The World) in Tinley Park, Ill. and the Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, Wis. Both are owned by rival promoter Clear Channel Entertainment.
Jam Productions, in partnership with Tinley Park developers, built the 30,000-capacity Tweeter Center, which opened in 1989. In 1994, the Nederlander Organization took over the management of the venue but had a joint agreement to book the facility and Alpine Valley.
In 1999 Nederlander sold its interest in both venues to the SFX Music Group (now Clear Channel). The World was renamed the Tweeter Center last year.
