New York (CelebrityAccess) – Universal Attractions Agency (UAA) has announced that Grammy-nominated rapper Afroman has officially signed an exclusive deal with the agency. UAA President Jeff Epstein and agent Brian Lottermann will serve as Afroman’s responsible agents. This signing comes just in time for Afroman to join the lineup for the 2025 Rock The Country festival, a ten-date tour happening throughout spring and summer 2025. Additionally, Afroman will be performing at the Rock The South festival on June 20 in Cullman, Alabama.
About Afroman
Afroman first burst onto the scene with his debut album My Fro-losophy in 1998, followed by several independent releases. He found mainstream success in 2000 with the hit comedy-rap tracks “Because I Got High” and “Crazy Rap,” which eventually earned RIAA platinum status. “Because I Got High” reached No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Solo Performance at the 2002 Grammy Awards. Afroman later signed with Universal Music Group, where he released his major label debut, The Good Times, which compiled tracks from his earlier work and broke into the top ten on the Billboard 200. The success of “Because I Got High” cemented Afroman’s place in pop culture, with the song being featured in movies like Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and Disturbia.
Epstein expressed his enthusiasm: “Afroman is a legend and a pop culture icon. We are excited to welcome Afroman to UAA and are looking forward to the 2025 Rock The Country festival dates and beyond.”
