LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — The Foo Fighters have announced their first concerts of 2017, with indications that the rock band is gearing up for a busy festival season.
A recent update to the band's website added a map of Europe, and a 'passport' tool that shows concert dates as entry stamps. So far, there are three events on their schedule, including the Open'er festival in Poland on June 29, the Mad Cool Festival in Madrid, Spain on July 6th and the NOS Alive Festival in Lisbon, Portugal, on July 7.
The group was largely on hiatus in 2016, after a busy 2015 that saw Dave Grohl break his leg after he fell off the stage during a performance in Sweden. The fall forced the band to postpone their dates, and then they picked up the tour later that year, they were again forced to curtail the outing in the wake of the terror attacks in Paris in November.
Since then, they have stayed low-key, performing a few one-off shows, including their annual charity show in Los Angeles, and trolling music journalists with (unfounded) rumors of an impending breakup.
