LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — While they didn't sign Casey Anthony, who was so recently acquitted after a very public murder trial, Paradigm has apparently signed her defense attorney.
According to Deadline Hollywood's Nikki Finke, Paradigm's Jim Griffin has signed on to rep attorney Jose Baez in all areas, including books, broadcasting, television and movies.
A native of Puerto Rico who grew up in New York City and Miami, Baez spent some time in the U.S. Navy, run several small web businesses and worked as a para-legal for the Miami-Dade Public Defenders office among other gigs. He now runs, The Baez Law Firm, a small, Miami-based law firm which employs an investigator, para-legal and one other attorney and specializes in criminal defense. According to ABC, Anthony hired Baez based on the recommendation of a fellow inmate.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, rumors were circulating that both Baez and Anthony had signed with WME but THR confirmed that those rumors were false. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
